Volunteering

It takes a variety of skills to run New Day Equine Therapy. We are interested in volunteers with horse knowledge and experience who want to be part of our program. Volunteers can help groom, tack horses, serve as horse leaders or side-walkers. We will provide training for committed volunteers who are 16 years of age or older.

Typically we will need a volunteer to commit to 1-2 hours each week. Note that all volunteers must practice and follow New Day Equine Therapy’s confidentiality and facility policies and procedures.
